సుందరకాండ – 20
(త్రిజట వృత్తాంతం)
అప్పుడు హరిజట అనే రాక్షస స్త్రీ లేచి “ఈమెని రావణుడు అపహరించి తీసుకొచ్చి ఇక్కడ పెట్టినప్పటినుంచి నా నోటి వెంట లాలాజలం కారిపోతుంది. ఈమెని ఎప్పుడెప్పుడు తిందామా అని చూస్తున్నాను” అన్నది. ఈ మాటలు విన్న ఏకజట అనే రాక్షస స్త్రీ లేచి అన్నది “నేను బయట పడితే ఎవరన్నా ఈ విషయం చెప్పేస్తారేమో అని భయపడ్డాను. కానీ హరిజట బయటపడింది కాబట్టి చెప్తున్నాను. ఆకలితో ఉన్నవాడు ఎదురుగా భోజనాన్ని పెట్టుకుని తినకుండా ఎలా నిగ్రహించుకొని ఉంటాడో, అలా నేను కూడా ఈ నరకాంతని ఎదురుగా పెట్టుకొని తినకుండా నిగ్రహించుకొని ఉన్నాను. ప్రభువు ఎలాగు అనుమతి ఇచ్చాడు కదా ఈమెని దండించమని, కాబట్టి ఈమె పీక పిసికేసి తినేద్దాము. ఈమె హృదయమునకు కిందన ఉండే భాగము, గుండె, మెదడు నాది” అన్నది. అప్పుడు మిగతా రాక్షస స్త్రీలు, నావి కాళ్ళు, నావి తొడలు, నావి చేతులు అని వాటాలు వేసుకున్నారు. తరువాత అజముఖి అనే స్త్రీ అన్నది “ఈమెని అందరమూ సరిసమానంగా వాటాలు వేసుకుందాము. తొందరగా కల్లు తీసుకురండి. ఈమెని తింటూ, కల్లు తాగుతూ, నికుంబిలా నాట్యం చేద్దాము” అన్నది.
అప్పుడు సీతమ్మ ఏడుస్తూ “ఇక్కడ మరణిద్దామన్నా కూడా నాకు స్వేఛ్చ లేదు” అని అనుకొని, ఆ రాక్షస స్త్రీలని చూసి భయపడుతూ కూర్చున్న చోట నుంచి లేచి శింశుపా వృక్షం మొదటికి వెళ్ళి కూర్చుంది. ఇంతలో త్రిజట అనే రాక్షస స్త్రీ లేచి “ఇప్పుడే తెల్లవారుజామున నాకు ఒక కల వచ్చింది. వెయ్యి హంసలు మోస్తున్న ఒక శిబిక మీద తెల్లటి వస్త్రములను ధరించి, మెడలో తెల్లటి పుష్పమాలికలు వేసుకుని రామచంద్రమూర్తి లక్ష్మణుడితో కలిసి ఆకాశంలో వచ్చారు. అప్పుడు వారు నాలుగు దంతములు కలిగిన ఏనుగు మీద దిగారు. ఆ ఏనుగు తెల్లగా ఉన్న ఒక పర్వతం దగ్గరికి వెళ్ళింది. ఆ పర్వతం మీద సీతమ్మ పచ్చటి పట్టు పుట్టం కట్టుకుని ఉంది. రాముడు సీతమ్మకి తన చెయ్యి ఇచ్చి ఏనుగు మీదకి ఎక్కించుకున్నాడు. అప్పుడు వారు వృషభములు పూన్చిన రథంలోకి మారారు. ఆ రథం వెళ్ళిపోతున్నప్పుడు సీతమ్మ సూర్యచంద్రులిద్దరిని తన చేతితో నిమిరింది. తరువాత వాళ్ళందరూ పుష్పక విమానంలో ఉత్తర దిక్కుకి వెళ్ళిపోయారు. పాల సముద్రం మధ్యలో ఒక కొండ ఉంది. ఆ కొండ మీద హేమసింహాసనం ఉంది. ఆ సింహాసనం మీద రాముడు కూర్చుని ఉన్నాడు. ఆయన ఎడమ తొడ మీద సీతమ్మ కూర్చుని ఉంది. అలా ఉన్న రాముడికి దేవతలు పట్టాభిషేకం చేశారు. నాకు ఆ సమయంలో రాముడు రెండు చేతులతో కనపడలేదు. ఈ సమస్త బ్రహ్మాండములు ఎవరిలోనుంచి వస్తున్నాయో, ఎవరివల్ల నిలబడుతున్నాయో, ఎవరిలోకి లయమయిపోతున్నాయో అటువంటి పరబ్రహ్మ స్వరూపంగా, నాలుగు చేతులతో ఉన్న శ్రీ మహావిష్ణువుగా సాక్షాత్కరించాడు.

(Trijata narrative)
Then a demoness named Harijata got up and said, “Ever since Ravana kidnapped her and put her here, saliva has been dripping my mouth. I have been waiting to eat her.” On hearing these words, a demoness named Ekajata got up and said, “I was afraid that someone would reveal this if I went out. But I am saying this because Harijata has come out. Just like a hungry person who has his food before him, controls himself and does not eat it, I have also been controlling myself, with this lady before me. Anyway, our Lord has given permission to punish her, so let’s strangle and eat her. The part below her heart, heart and brain are mine. ” Then the rest of the demonesses said, “Legs are mine! Thighs are mine! Arms are mine!” and prepared to share her. Then a woman named Ajamukhi said, “Let’s all share her equally. Bring toddy quickly. Let’s eat her, drink toddy and dance like Nikumbi.”
Then Mother Seeta cried and thought, “I am not free even to die here,” and got up from where she had been sitting, frightened at the sight of the demon women, and went and sat down on the Shimshupa tree. Meanwhile, a demoness named Trijata got up and said, “I have had a dream at dawn. Mother Seeta who was sitting on a bed carried by a thousand swans, wearing white clothes, and a garland of white flowers, appeared in the sky along with Rama and Lakshmana. Then they alighted from the elephant having four tusks. That elephant went near a white mountain. Mother Seeta was sitting on the mountain with a green silk saree. Lord Rama gave his hand to Mother Seeta and lifter her up on to the elephant. Then they changed to a chariot drawn by bulls. As they were travelling by that chariot, Mother Seeta gently caressed the sun and the moon. After that, they went northwards in a Pushpaka Vimaana (floral plane). There was a hill in the middle of the milky ocean. There was a golden throne on that hill. Lord Rama was seated on that throne. Mother Seeta was seated on his left thigh. Lord Rama was crowned by the Gods, as He sat thus. At that time, Rama did not appear to me with two hands. Instead, He appeared as the Lord Mahavishnu, with four hands, as the One from whom all the worlds originate, by Whom they are sustained, and into Whom they are merging.”

ఇక్కడ లంకా పట్టణంలో రావణాసురుడు మాత్రం గాడిదలు పూన్చిన రథం ఎక్కి, ఎర్రటి వస్త్రములు ధరించి, నూనె తాగుతూ ఉన్నాడు. ఆ రథం దక్షిణ దిక్కుగా వెళ్ళిపోయింది. కొంతదూరం వెళ్ళాక ఆ రథం నుండి దక్షిణ దిక్కుకి తల ఉండేలా కింద పడిపోయాడు. తరువాత పైకి లేచి మెడలో గన్నేరు పూల మాలలు వేసుకొని పిచ్చి పిచ్చిగా అరుస్తూ, నాట్యం చేస్తూ పరిగెత్తి ఒక కంపుకొట్టే మురికి గుంటలో పడిపోయాడు. అప్పుడు వికటాట్టహాసం చేస్తూ, ఎర్రటి వస్త్రములు ధరించి, బోడి గుండుతో ఉన్న ఒక స్త్రీ పాశం వేసి రావణుడిని బయటకి లాగింది. అప్పుడామె రావణుడిని పశువుని తీసుకెళ్ళినట్టు దక్షిణ దిక్కుకి తీసుకువెళ్ళింది. ఆవిడ వెనకాల చప్పట్లు కొడుతూ, నాట్యం చేస్తూ రావణుడు వెళ్ళిపోయాడు. వాళ్ళ వెనకాల కుంభకర్ణుడు, ఇంద్రజిత్ మొదలైనవారు ఒంటె, మొసలి మొదలైన వాహనములను ఎక్కి దక్షిణ దిక్కుకి వెళ్ళిపోయారు.
ఒక్క విభీషణుడు మాత్రం నాలుగు దంతములు ఉన్న ఏనుగు మీద కూర్చుని ఉన్నాడు. నలుగురు మంత్రులచేత సేవింపబడుతున్నాడు. ఎక్కడినుంచో ఒక మహావానరము వచ్చి లంకా పట్టణంలోని ఇళ్ళన్నిటినీ అగ్నికి బలిచేసింది. ఎక్కడ చూసినా ‘ఓ తల్లి! ఓ అక్క! ఓ తండ్రి! ఓ చెల్లి!’ అనే కేకలు వినపడ్డాయి. లంకంతా బూడిదయిపోయింది. నేను అటువంటి కలని చూశాను. ఈ సీతమ్మకి సమీప భవిష్యత్తులో గొప్ప శుభం ఉన్నది. అదుగో నిష్కారణంగా సీతమ్మ ఎడమ కన్ను అదురుతోంది. ఎడమ భుజం అదురుతోంది. ఎడమ తొడ అదురుతోంది. కట్టుకున్న పట్టు పుట్టం తనంతట కొంచెం కిందకి జారింది. ఈ చెట్టు మీద ఒక పక్షి కూర్చుని కూస్తోంది. పక్షి కూస్తుండగా చెట్టు కింద కూర్చున్న స్త్రీ తొందరలోనే తన భర్త తో సమాగమాన్ని పొందుతుంది. సీతమ్మ ముఖంలో కాంతి కొంచెం తగ్గింది కానీ ప్రస్ఫుటంగా శుభశకునములు ఆవిడ శరీరమునందు కనపడుతున్నాయి. ఈమె సాక్షాత్తు శ్రీ మహాలక్ష్మి. మీరు బ్రతకాలి అనుకుంటే, ఇన్నాళ్ళు చేసిన దోషాలు పోవాలనుకుంటే, మీ మీదకి రామ బాణాలు పడకుండా ఉండాలంటే ఒక్కసారి వచ్చి ఆ తల్లి ముందు సాష్టాంగ ప్రణామం చెయ్యండి. ఆమె మిమ్మల్ని తప్పకుండా క్షమిస్తుంది” అని త్రిజట చెప్పింది. అని త్రిజట చెప్పిన స్వప్న వృత్తాంతం విన్న ఆ రాక్షస స్త్రీలు శాంతించారు.
(త్రిజట చెప్పిన కళను పూర్తిగా విన్నవారు, చెప్పినవారు సుభాలను పొందుతారత. ఆ శ్రీరామచంద్రమూర్తి సీతా, లక్ష్మణ, హనుమ సమేతుడై మిమ్మల్ని సదా కాపాడు గాక.)

(Trijata narrative)
“Here in the town of Lanka, Ravanasura was riding in a chariot drawn donkeys, dressed in red and drinking oil. The chariot went southward. After going some distance, he fell down from that chariot, with his head to the south. Then he got up, wore a garland of Ganeru (Nerium) flowers around his neck, ran around screaming and dancing madly and fell into a stinking ditch. Then, laughing eerily, a woman in red robes and with a bald head, threw a rope and pulled him out. Then she took Ravana to the south, as if he was cattle. Ravana followed her, clapping and dancing. Behind them Kumbhakarna, Indrajith, etc. rode on camel, crocodile etc. vehicles and headed south.”
“Only Vibhishana was sitting on an elephant with four tusks. He was being served by four ministers. A huge monkey came from nowhere and set fire to all the houses in the town of Lanka. Cries of ‘Oh mother! O sister! O father! O brother! ‘ were heard everywhere. The whole of Lanka was burnt to ashes. I saw such a dream. This Mother Seeta has great auspiciousness in store for her in the near future. Mother Seeta’s left eye is twitching for no reason. Her left shoulder is twitching. Her left thigh is twitching. The strapped silk saree slipped down a little on its own. A bird is sitting on this tree and calling. As the bird calls, the woman sitting under the tree will soon meet with her husband. The brightness on Mother Seeta’s face has dimmed a little, but the good omens are clearly visible on her body. She is verily Sri Mahalakshmi. If you want to live, if you want to get rid of the mistakes made in the past, if you want to avoid Rama’s arrows from falling upon you, come once and prostrate before that Mother. She will surely forgive you, ” said Trijata. The demonesses calmed down when they heard the dream story told by Trijata.
(Those who fully hear and recite the dream mentioned by Trijata will achieve auspiciousness. May Sri Ramachandramurti always protect you, along with Sita, Lakshmana and Hanuman).
